Portable, Ruggedized Storage & Charging - Safe, Secure & Ready for Class
There is nothing worse than technology that isn’t working, charged or ready to use. Both the ClassVR 4 (pictured right) and 8 (pictured left) sets have portable, ruggedized storage and charging cases, making sure all your headsets are safe, secure and fully charged, ready for students to use at any time. The custom designed foam helps protect the headsets and holds them securely in place. Secured Charging The ClassVR case has been designed to allow devices to be charged even when the case is closed and locked. An integrated USB charging hub, along with active cooling fans, makes sure that your headsets can be safely locked away and charged at the same time, with no fear of overheating. Portable for Shared Use Maximizing the investment in VR means making it available to as many students as possible. That’s why the ClassVR cases have been designed to be as portable as possible, allowing even students to easily and safely move the headsets from one classroom to another. The Starter Set of 4 is lightweight and transportable for students of any age and the Set of 8 has an extendable handle and rugged wheels make moving the headsets simple, even for young children. With their strong ABS shell and soft internal foam padding, your headsets are safe from knocks, bumps and rough handling. |
A Simple to Use Interface
Virtual Reality is an exciting new concept, and many students and teachers will not have experienced a VR headset, or even know what to expect. ClassVR has been designed to provide an exciting, engaging, yet simple to use interface to allow students and teachers to quickly and easily access educational content and applications with minimal fuss and no distractions, keeping them focused on the task at hand. Welcome to the 'HoloDeck' The heart of the ClassVR interface is the ‘holodeck‘. This futuristic ‘room’ gives students a central place to begin their adventures. Across the holodeck, icons are shown, depicting educational activities, locations or experiences. These icons and experiences can be customized by the teacher, or selected by scanning a QrKey on our pre-defined educational lesson plans and themes. Control With a Simple Gesture Adding to the excitement is ClassVR’s gesture controls, a simple way for students to navigate the interface to find, select and launch activities. Using just your hands and simple head movements you can navigate around the icons and select and launch activities. No buttons to fumble for, no controllers to hold. Find what you want, then give a gesture and you’re off… When you are viewing a 360 image, standing up and turning around could be dangerous, especially for young children. With ClassVR’s ‘head tilt’ gesture, just tilt your head left and right and you will rotate around the picture, allowing you to experience 360 degree images from a safe sitting position. |

Curriculum-aligned Augmented Reality Content & Resources
Augmented Reality brings educational content to life, allowing students to view and interact with exciting 3D models, providing greater engagement, understanding and ultimately knowledge retention. The ClassVR headsets include a front-facing camera and ClassVR's proprietary ARC (Augmented Reality Classroom) app, so students can get up close and personal with content, such as a beating heart, simply by looking at one of the worksheets.
ARC is built right into the ClassVR headset interface, and can be launched with a simple ‘thumbs up’ gesture. Once running, students can see their normal surroundings, but when they look at the ARC trigger images on worksheets or posters, the content comes to life, delivering interactive 3D models, such as machines, historical artifacts, planets, blood cells and many other exciting educational resources.

Hold a human heart in your hands, get up close and personal with a black widow spider, or step inside a medieval house. 3D models can be viewed directly in the ClassVR headset. Move them around with just your head, or for an interaction bring the ARCube into view and the 3D model will attach to it, allowing you to manipulate and view the model exactly as if you were holding it! In addition to ClassVR's library of 3D resources, ClassVR’s open platform makes it easy to view your own 3D models on the headsets. This opens up incredible creative opportunities for students.
